This page is maintained by Founders Group of Schools to answer common questions about how our school portal handles security and privacy. It describes controls currently enabled in the application and is not an independent certification or audit.
Accounts are protected by email and password. Sign-in sessions are issued per device and can be ended by signing out.
Administrative actions are limited to staff accounts that an administrator has explicitly granted a role to. Learners, educators, and administrators see only the portal areas appropriate to their role.
Educator permissions (such as posting news, managing learners, or viewing grades) are assigned individually by an administrator. Staff positions (principal, vice principal, HOD, dean) grant additional section-scoped abilities.
Privileged operations are checked on the server before they run.
Learner records, grades, attendance, applications, and announcements are stored in our managed database with row-level security so that each account can only read or change the records its role allows.
Connections between your browser and our servers use HTTPS/TLS in transit.
Assignment files uploaded by educators are stored in a private bucket and served only through short-lived download links issued to authorised users (the assigning educator, enrolled learners in that class, and administrators).
Profile photos, news images, and other public marketing media are served from public storage by design.
The portal runs on the Lovable platform, which provides our application hosting, managed database, authentication, file storage, and email delivery. Lovable acts as our infrastructure subprocessor.
We do not sell learner data and we do not share it with advertisers.
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (such as theme). We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Active learner, educator, and application records are retained while the account or admission is active. If you want a record deleted, contact the school office and we will action the request in line with our school records policy.
